EVERY DAY
CLEANSE
Find your favourite fit. Is it a gel or cream-based cleanser? A good cleanser leaves the skin feeling clean but not dry or "tight". Use your cleanser daily—morning and night—to start the day off fresh-faced and to wash away the day's impurities. Your skin is your largest organ and can absorb everything you encounter, from the street pollution to environmental elements. Don't take that to bed with you!
Apply
Cleanse at the beginning and end of the day—every day. Following the instructions on your cleanser allows you to remove all traces of make-up and impurities.

TONE
Use a toner to refresh the skin, refine the pores, remove any residue and prepare skin for moisturizing. Toners should refresh the skin without causing dryness. Remember a toner is your friend and should leaving your skin feeling comfortable.
Apply
Twice a day, post cleanser, apply toner to cotton wool and sweep over the skin, especially over open pores.

SERUM
Serums, also known as concentrates or elixirs (we love the word "elixir"!), supply special nutrients to the skin, such as antioxidants or anti-aging botanicals. Serums penetrate more deeply than a moisturizer allowing all that magic to penetrate deeper and help you achieve your best skin. A good serum absorbs quickly without any tingling.
Apply
Apply before your moisturizer and/or make-up. Pat gently on the skin in the morning and evening and allow to softly sink in.

MOISTURIZE
Did you know how rich your moisturizer should be depends greatly on your skin type? (see our: "Do you know your skin type?" blog post). You could use a simple facial oil with a light moisturizer or a creamy rich lotion—it all depends on your skin type. Either way skin should feel soft and hydrated, not oily or sticky.Apply
Use a light cream in the morning before you apply make-up to moisturize and balance your own natural oils, and a more nourishing cream or facial oil at the end of the day. Using a circular motion with application allows for greater stimulation of the skin and gets the most out of your product. Remember to always avoid the delicate eye area and use only a cream or gel formulated specifically for that delicate area.

A mask deeply cleanses the skin, removing any build-up and impurities. It also has a refining effect. Use a slightly astringent mask for oily/combination skin and an intensely moisturizing mask for dry skin. Whatever your skin type, your mask should never leave your skin feeling dry or uncomfortable. Find a mask best suited for your skin type that leaves it clean, radiant and ready for a nourishing serum and moisturizer.Apply
After toning, apply to the central panel of your face, forehead, nose then to cheeks. Leave on approximately 10 minutes until mask feels dry but not cracking. Rinse with warm water or gently use a muslin cloth to remove.

Using a polish or scrub exfoliates your face by removing dead skin cells allowing for more refreshed skin that is ready to absorb a serum or moisturizer. A good scrub or polish uses small granules to gently exfoliate the skin, without causing redness.Apply
